UCD – AHA Project Administrator: Applications are invited from suitably experienced candidates for the temporary part-time post of AHA Project Administrator in the UCD School of Computer Science. Working with the project coordinator and the consortium partners, project administrator will provide support in the development of the project. The administrator will have strong project management skills and will be required to manage the AHA pilot project in addition to administrative duties. In the first Instance project management duties will relate to everyday management of the activities of the Ireland based project partners on the AHA project. This position will contribute to an interdisciplinary project funded by European Commission Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology for developing the use of new technologies and digital tools in education – Technologies and tools for children and young people with attention – deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

UCD – AHA Post-Doc Research Fellow Level 1: Applications are invited for a UCD Post-Doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 in the UCD School of Computer Science. This is a temporary role.
AHA (ADHD Augmented) pilot project focuses in particular on the implementation and integration of existing technologies (mobile apps, online literacy programme, and augmented reality development) to enhance learning for students with ADHD, assist their parents and educators during the teaching and assessment process and investigate whether the combination of such technologies can assist students with ADHD to stay focused, make fewer mistakes and to finish assignments at school as well as homework. AHA will deliver an Augmented Reality (AR) solution for an existing on-line literacy programme, which integrates a set of specific technologies and supports interactive educational content, services, assessment and feedback. Development of AHA will focus on the cooperation with academia, ADHD experts, schools and providers of existing digital solutions that will define the framework and interoperability requirements of such a data-driven intensive and innovative digital learning ecosystem.

WWL – AHA Software Engineer Applications are invited for this research and development focused role that will contribute to an interdisciplinary project funded by European Commission Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology for developing the use of new technologies and digital tools in education – Technologies and tools for children and young people with attention – deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The AHA (ADHD Augmented) project consortium will be led by University College Dublin (UCD).  The primary purpose of this role is to devise, create and implement the augmented reality components developed for the web-based WordsWorthLearning (WWL) programme solution within AHA project (Design, implement, test and validate AR Objects; Document the approach in the creation of the AR Objects;  Evaluate the robustness and performance of the system on-line current system with Augmented objects), assuring the global integration with other existing developed projects.
You will deliver the WWL Augmented Reality components, WWL web-based platform AR solution design, including the infrastructure systems, i.e. the infrastructure layout (data archiving); the overall integration into the AHA framework, including communication among the different tools (defining API services, data exchange); and the system infrastructure documentation.
You will report directly to the CEO of WordsWorth Learning Ltd with guidance from the AHA project Principal Investigator. This is a temporary role.
Salary Scale: €31,000 – €35,488 per annum pro-rata
